The German brand Deutz-Fahr is the result of more than 100 years of experience in agricultural engineering. Known for its modern developments such as the Trac concept, cab suspension and automatic engine pre-programming, Deutz-Fahr is an established manufacturer of agricultural machinery.
Deutz and Fahr - two strong names
First and foremost, this includes around 75 years manufacturing Deutz-Fahr tractors. Previously marketed as independent brands, in 1981 Deutz and tedders, binders and horse-drawn hay rakes.
The journey towards the establishment of the Deutz-Fahr agricultural engineering brand
In the 1930s, with the aim of facilitating in-field work processes, Fahr was already beginning to develop the prototypes for a self-driving combine harvester, which was eventually launched in 1951 in the form of Germany's first self-driving M1 combine harvester. This was followed by the invention of the rotary tedder in the 1990s. This enables the gathering, processing and scattering of hay at a high speed. This cemented the position of the Deutz-Fahr brand, with the company now considered the leading manufacturer in the field of harvesting technology.
Alongside tractors, an extensive range of agricultural devices are currently marketed under the Deutz-Fahr brand: the product portfolio includes self-loading trailers, balers, drum mowers and disc mowers, as well as other machinery. This also includes Deutz-Fahr telescopic loaders and forage solutions. The Deutz-Fahr tractor line-up includes the well-known Agroton M, L, X and TT series; since the merger with the Italian SAME-Group, the company has also been selling internally manufactured combine harvesters, including the 6040, 6060-6095 HTS and 75345 RTS series.
In recent years Deutz-Fahr has received various awards for its innovations.
For example, Deutz-Fahr won the silver medal at the 2015 Agritechnica Innovation Awards, for its "Driver Extended Eye" driver safety system. The Deutz-Fahr 7250 TTV Agrotron was also crowned 2013 Tractor of the Year. The 6 Cshift series by Deutz-Fahr, which was also selected as the 2016 Machine of the Year in the "Upper Mid-Class Tractor" category, is particularly popular. Particularly crucial in achieving this accolade was the Cshift transmission in the Deutz-Fahr series. This is an electrohydraulic transmission that enables clutch-free gear selection by means of a joystick. Other factors contributing to the positive evaluation were the driver's cabin - itself already the recipient of various awards, the power-to-weight ratio of the Deutz-Fahr tractor, and its substantial lifting capacity. The new 7 Series tractors by Deutz-Fahr are particularly well-suited to large-scale farming businesses. Deutz offers two tractor models: the huge tractors produce 243 HP and deliver professional performance throughout the entire season.
7250 TTV WARRIOR
Among the tractors offered by agricultral machinery manufacturer Deutz-Fahr is a special limited edition model. In addition to the typical Deutz-Fahr green, the 7250 TTV WARRIOR is also available in all black and features a few additional equipment options, including, for example, LED and XENON lights, a part-leather seat and an exhaust with a stainless steel exhaust cover.
